It is generally recommended to tune your piano at least twice a year. However, if you play frequently or experience changes in humidity, more frequent tunings may be necessary to maintain optimal sound quality.

The cost of piano tuning can vary based on the condition of the piano and the services required. It is always best to keep your piano tuned at least one a year. Pianos that have not been serviced regularly typically go flat over time due to the high tension strings, temperature, and humidity changes throughout the year. Additional work may be needed to bring a neglected piano up to standard pitch A440.
